Since ive decided to spend one month with a course about Demography, i think i should tell you alittle about it.
F.Ram one of our teachers told us that Demography is about : population size, composition, distribution and growth... almost every indian who gets to know about me studying this course says - yes Indias population is a subject for study..
So lets look at Mumbai. Here we have a composition of 27.000 persons per square km, imagin this, in India the average nr is 386 per square km!
There is also a fact that four states (Bihar, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh)(out of 35) are holding more than 45 % of the total population, having the highest numbers of fertility, population and maternal deaths - this beeing closely linked to poverty.
